Now Recruiting. Workshop Foreman – Mallorca

Marlin Marine Services are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Workshop Foreman to oversee daily workshop operations, ensure high standards of work, and support the efficiency of our engineering team. Established in 1996 and based in Port Adriano, South West Mallorca, Marlin Marine Services is a trusted name in yacht engineering, maintenance, and brokerage.

Key responsibilities:

1. Ensure the workshop is kept in a clean and safe working environment
2. Ensure that hours worked are kept up to date on the engineer’s time sheet
3. Quality of work is at a high standard, hrs are not wasted
4. Check that all work is done correctly and report any issues arising from that
5. Ensure that engineers follow the predetermined workload
6. Report any issues regarding parts delay or issues that may affect the completion of works
7. Monitor the quoted jobs report if we are getting near the 70% threshold

Essential requirements:

• Must hold Spanish residency
• Ability to converse in both English and Spanish
• Strong knowledge of boat machinery and repairs
• Experience working with and leading a team
• Good understanding of the various aspects of marine systems
